I came here for dinner (and lunch a couple days later!) when I was staying in the area and looking for a bit of comfort vietnamese food before my flight back home to the States.
For a vietnamese restaurant, there's quite a number of dishes that you typically don't see on the menu, and because of the difficulty (probably) of getting certain ingredients here in Japan, they've made some modifications to all the dishes to better suit the populace.
I ordered the Bún bò Huế for dinner the first time I came. My server clearly was fluent in both Japanese and Vietnamese. I didn't try ordering in English, but I wouldn't doubt that they do speak or at least understand enough that English speakers would be able to get by. The food arrived shortly, it wasn't too fast, but not incredibly slow. I won't lie that it was a bit different than my expectation, but the heart and soul was there. You can taste it. Bring me back home, if even just for a bit.
I also came here with 2 friends for lunch a couple days later and also had the curry set, (which was very good and great value).
Overall, a pleasant experience finding an authentic Vietnamese place here in Japan. Will definitely come again when I'm...

The pho here is as good as authentic Vietnamese pho from the states and Vietnam. The noodles are very soft and the broth is perfectly made with the right amount of saltiness, savoriness, and sweetness. The portion size is Japanese portion size. So if you are coming from the States it's a bit smaller but if you finish the broth you should be full.
The restaurant has a great atmosphere with Vietnamese and Japanese decorations. The song selection feels comfy and is a mix of Japanese, Vietnamese, and Korean music.
The service was nice and the waiter and waitress were friendly. Definitely would recommend if you want to try something else in Tokyo beside Japanese food. You know just to mix up the taste...
Read moreHands down one of the best Bun Cha I’ve had in town. Hidden away in the basement of a random business park, this spot turned out to be surprisingly spacious, spotless, and well-organized.
The menu is massive, stacked with Vietnamese classics — from Pho and Bun Bo Hue to crispy Viet crêpes and, of course, Bun Cha. We especially loved the northern-style fried spring rolls wrapped in rice paper. The Bun Cha itself was perfect: something we rarely find back home, and when we do, it’s never done right. The light dipping fish sauce paired beautifully with the vermicelli noodles, while the smoky, charcoal-grilled pork belly was absolute heaven.
Overall, the service was great, prices were fair, and the staff couldn’t have been friendlier. A...
