Indeed this retro cafe has a nice antique interior that makes you almost feel as though you’ve entered a fun, Disneyland attraction despite the location being in the cuts besides pachinko parlors. From the chairs to the cups and silverware, it truly was an experience. I sincerely appreciated that despite the vibe, there wasn’t a hint of cigarette smoke to be found.
I was impressed by the various amounts of coffee offered here and I don’t think I’ve been able to find many places in Japan serving Turkish coffee. I ordered that plus the cream coffee jelly which were both decent in taste but better aesthetically. Nonetheless, I enjoyed both.
I was not impressed by the service however, from the 2 gentleman on the 2nd floor. Seemed like everyone working on the 1st floor was really friendly but the older barista behind bar who had a bad cough and the younger waiter seemed irritated. My coffee jelly also came close to 30 minutes after I ordered it taking longer than other folks who were seated much later than me. I almost didn’t want it and was going to take the check, but it eventually came.

Loved our charcoal roasted "regular" coffee, rich and delicious. The morning set for the tiny sum of 100 yen extra really completed the experience.
