I try this place first night in Tokio and I notice, I was pay too much for 2 beers and tapas. At second day, I choose the most cheap beer, but the waiter come back with bad face and say ' there is no more of this beer, you can choose only this' (3 times more expensive). No way. I left the place inmediately and I start walking a little bit in Akihabara and I find another place on the side streets, turist friendly with local prices 🤯 ( no english menu but they do their best) I get in shock how much main street bars charge tourist. And I get impress of the good service and cheap prices from the small-side streets local izakayas.
Maybe this Brewery is expensive because the beer product is premium, the brewery, the process, I dont know.. there is no info about it and maybe my mouth was dry and i just want a cold beer ( one or two) not an elaborated premium craft.
In Japan If you enter in a place and nobody bring you free water, some free courtesy pickes or peanut, nobody say hi BEFORE taking your order, just ask if there is service fee or service charge. If they say 'yes' and dont bring nothing to the table before take your order, is a big red flag, some surprise is going to show up in the bill. Avoid at all cost the places who dont say 'hi' with water or cold tea. Just stand up and leave because some places surprisingly charge randomly big amount to tourist on "table fee" "service charge" or "service fee" per person. One month in Japan just tryin' food and bars is my source of experience.
Anyway amazing place but no japan food, just spanish tapas 🥴 (why I will travel all way to Japan just to eat an chorizo with frites?) well. As I say, just walk and try to find a place who suits you and take your own conclutions, this place don't work for me because I just want some small gyozas with a cold beer with local prices... is too much to ask? Maybe I am not the client for this place.., yes I am not, because I was looking for an Izakaya and this place is 'something else'. Love you all, the staff so lovely but they need to improve the quality of the food and beer. Not wort it for me. But is my opinion. Give a try and take your own...

For years I went here often and was treated well. Then I moved and stopped coming. I'd pop in once every 3 months or so and was treated cold by the same people that use to be so kind.
The last straw for me was when my friend from overseas wanted to go here for his birthday, he was so excited. Unfortunately, he has a bad back and he's quite the large guy. I asked the female manager if we could sit in the back at the tables. She seemed mad I even asked. She said no, 3 people +, I said it's his birthday and he has a bad back. She kept the same straight face and repeated her self. So we had to sit on the high stools which he wasn't really able to do. We ordered a couple dishes and a couple beers. The female manager brought everything and just threw it on the table without saying a word. This was at opening time on a weekday, they werent busy. I went to the toilet just before leaving and no one was sitting at those back tables.
It's crazy how a manager who use to talk about personal things with me and always helped me out, became so rude and cold. I won't...

Great find in Akhihabara right next to our hotel which was good for getting back easy after trying a few pints of beer. From the outside quite rustic including a very spacious rustic looking inside with 49 taps of pure delicious beer to try.
Staff were great and friendly showing us an English menu with the beef and food items. We tried a few pints of ales and beers and had a good time eating a few of the local tapas too. Prices are pretty good around 690 for a pint depending on the variety of course.
Place was full of locals enjoying the same as us a few craft beers with snacks which was pretty enjoyable and memorable.
Recommendations Enjoy a real bar with a lively atmosphere and try half pints of different beers including the tapas.
