Craft Gin Bar Copain is an absolute gem in Tokyo. The selection of gins from all over the world is incredible – every bottle has its own story, and it’s clear that this place is built on true passion for the spirit.

What really made the evening special was the owner. Even though the bar was busy, she gave personal attention to every guest. While mixing and serving drinks, she always found the time to explain each gin and cocktail in detail, sharing her deep knowledge in a way that was both fascinating and easy to enjoy. On top of that, she was genuinely warm and friendly, making us feel more like friends than just customers.

We also have to mention the second bartender, who was equally friendly and very skilled behind the bar. Together, they created an atmosphere that was professional, welcoming, and a lot of fun at the same time.

As for food, the bar keeps it simple but perfect: delicious, freshly made popcorn that turned out to be the ideal snack with our drinks.

Overall, it was an unforgettable experience – cozy, educational, and full of great flavors. Visiting Copain was the perfect way to end our holiday in Japan, and we left with amazing memories, new favorite gins, and the feeling of having discovered something truly special. You will be overwhelmed by the sheer Gin variety here. Feels like a speakeasy by with nice view of the street outside. Drinks are world class, perfectly mixed. Honestly I'm still in shock by some of the rare gins I was able to try here. Reservations might be needed on the weekend. Prices are reasonable, about 1,300 yen per drink. Bartender speaks perfect English. Music was mellow and bot too load. Has a bit of a rustic industrial look on the inside. That’s my favorite place! Bartender is russian girl who not only knows what she doing but also love what she doing! Cocktails are not drinkable they are eatable))) so tasty that most of the time you forget where you are and enjoy your time. Alcohol there is with a good quality.
