The location is nice and quiet, just a few turns away from the busy Takeshita Street.
I came in at around 2PM and it was mostly empty of customers.
The customer service of the staff is okay. I wouldn't say rude, but the cashier felt a bit impatient, as if I was inconveniencing her a bit. It wasn't anything major, but it did feel a bit weird.
I ordered a mocha coffee and I really enjoyed it. A friend ordered the matcha latte and said that it wasnt rich enough, tasted a bit watered down. The cup size for the asking price is a bit rough, though. I liked the mocha coffee, but I don't think it's worth the cost for such a small cup of it.
The atmosphere is like an open floor modern style. It was nice and different, but nothing crazy.
I liked that they give a little card detailing the coffee they served you and how it was prepared.
Overall, I'd pick this cafe mostly as a place to get out of the hustle and bustle of Harajuku for a few moments with good coffee if I happen to be in the area, but wouldn't really go out of my way to...
Read moreThis place is great. First I tried to go on a Sunday at midday and the line was so long I decided to go the next day. So expect to wait a long time if you go on Weekends. Then I went on Monday and I had to wait for about 15 minutes to get seated and another 10 minutes to get my order but it was absolutely worth it. The attention to detail for every order is impressive. The barista probably spend about 5 minutes making my drink alone and you can really taste it. My drink was perfect. (I ordered the Orange Espresso Tonic I think it was called) They keep their cafe quite empty. Some people are sitting alone at a table for 4 people. Even on the big table in the middle they make sure that no strangers are sitting across from you. They have only 3 tables for 4 and some people are sitting alone there studying probably for hours. My idea would be to put more tables made for 1 or 2 people so that more people can sit in the...
Read moreIt is easy to communicate with the staff if you are a not a native speaker. The beverages are good but you're definitely paying a little more for the location (which is within a seven minute walk from Harajuku Station). The space is simply and cleanly done in wood and cement materials, the coffee counter where they prep your drink is pretty and raises the anticipation for what you've ordered. The entrance to the cafe is one, big, open space which gives you a seamless indoor/outdoor experience. I usually come on a Sunday morning close to opening and it's not crowded. It can get a little noisy but there is a lot of table space, which makes it an easy place to work. The wifi connection is fast and doesn't disconnect every...
