Excellent rotisserie herb chicken place in Mita. Japanese food typically has subtle flavors so their take on other types of cuisine usually follow suit. This chicken does not! The dry rub is bold and flavorful. Their quality is generally pretty consistent, I think I've only had one out of 6 or 7 birds with slightly dry breast meat and another that was a bit too salty. Even those slightly off birds were still delicious.
The herb potatoes are also excellent. They cook them under the chickens in the rotisserie so the chicken fat drips down and is absorbed by the potatoes. They turn out rich and buttery.
They open for lunch then close during the slow time and re-open at 5:00 PM. This is important! I didn't pay attention and showed up at 4:30 once only to find an empty store. Read moreI highly recommend this place! The chicken is incredibly tender, with perfectly crispy skin and a delightful seasoning of herbs and spices—truly reminiscent of classic French cuisine. The portions are generous, accompanied by a fresh salad and your choice of rice or bread. Prices are very reasonable, ranging from 1000 to 1450 yen, and the staff is warm and welcoming. Takeout is also available for added convenience.
As someone from France, I can confidently say this rotisserie chicken rivals, if not surpasses, the quality of what you’d find back home. I’ll definitely be returning to...

Space is very limited, with only a small counter serving about 6 people, however, takeout is available (and is equally excellent). Lunchtime during the week sees a small queue of customers buying from the window, but service is fast and the line moves quickly. I recommend the half chicken with your choice of roast potatoes or rice. If you don't feel like a full meal, drop by and enjoy a small selection of other dishes (the duck is highly recommended) along with a bottle of...
