Greek Taverna Milieu — Restaurant in Tokyo

This place is such a gem! The food is absolutely delicious and it is no doubt that I will be back with more friends for sure. I was just craving some Greek food this week and finally got my fix from this place. We ordered: (1) the chef plate which was the pita bread and 3 different kind of sauces; (2) dolmades - this is a traditional Greek family dish which wraps flavored rice and minced meat with grape leaves; (3) Greek salad; (4) moussaka which is another local dish made out of eggplants, potato gratin, minced meat and cream sauce; and the (5) baklava dessert. I absolutely LOVE everything but my favourite was definitely the moussaka and my least favourite would be the baklava. I forgot how sweet baklava is. I thought a Japanese twist on it would make it less sweet but I guess this place is really as authentic...

Another great restaurant in this conclave of some of the best restaurants in Azabu juban area. We were looking for something casual to eat on a Monday night and came across this place and we decided to try it and had a very good meal.

Dips platter was all home mode and it went very well with the home made pita bread which is one of the best pita breads I have eaten. All the main dishes we tried were nice, especially the moussaka which was baked just for the right amount of time and still juicy enough to enjoy it. The puff pastry used on th spinach pie was so crumbly and flavorful it was awesome. Food wise I felt this place was casual but great good. Service was good, but sometimes you get spoiled for great service in Tokyo it's hard to always give 5 out of 5 and this is a establishment I will give 4 out of 5...

Finally I made it here ! Finally Greek food in Japan . I came for a lunch and unfortunately many of the items like fish souvlaki and even Greek coffee are served only at dinner time . But ok I made do and had some good Greek food . Nice salad and appetizer with bread and a large chicken Gyro . Would love to come for dinner one night . Came here again for the second time . Food was fresh and delicious. I loved everything,the only problem I have with this place they don’t serve fish at lunch , something about charcoal grill not allowed until night time ?
