Arrived in Japan not too long before finding this place, was searching for a good noodle place when we stumbled across this Ramen shop. We arrived during a festival so the restaurant was quiet and we got a warm welcome from the staff as soon as we entered, the staff set us down and thoroughly helped us through the menu. The cleanliness was 10/10 and the sound of the traditional japanese instrument music paired with the sound of the kitchen made for a quiet but also nicely ambient atmosphere. The staff brought out the food quickly about 5 minutes and the food was amazing a rich broth with spicy noodles large pieces of kaarage for my partner and a small amount of wagyu beef for me as this is an affordable restaurant not an expensive one. I firstly asked for the 2nd spicy level but after trying a couple they helped me bump the spice to 4 and the added spice did not impair the taste of the broth or noodles. The staff were pretty shocked as japanese people usually stick with 1 or 2 spicy level they were quick to ask where we were from out of interest this sparked a delightful conversation with the waiter and was able to practice some japanese but he also understood some english. He would go back to talk to the kitchen staff to tell them and later come back with more conversation with questions the staff had after we had finished our meal. You could tell they were genuinely interested. Bill came to 5'500 yen for two people including drinks. So where im from 15 euros per person which is amazing. Overall amazing food, amazing service would recommend visiting Ikebukuro just for this if you are staying in Tokyo

I know about Gyumon in Shibuya but first time heard about it in Ikebukuro. tl;dr: Very great option for Halal ramen and wagyu ramen, provides prayer room and has very comfortable and spacious dining area, with great decoration. — — — Dining place: Spacious and very comfortable with great decoration. Provides prayer room and very clean toilet. Service: Basic English is okay, staff will try his best to understand your needs. Of course basic Japanese with them is always welcome! Food: Ordered Gyumon Special Ramen (basic spiciness) and Wagyu Sukiyaki Bowl. - Gyumon Special Ramen: Spice level just nice, not to spicy and not too bland. Has a hint of smoky taste probably from the beef. Noodle is not the ordinary thin ramen noodle, instead a thicker noodle, probably hand pulled, so something different is always appreciated! - Wagyu Sukiyaki Bowl: Regular marinade sauce but the it was perfectly cooked. Definitely will come again when in Ikebukuro again and try others especially Kimchi and Gyoza!

The location for the Ikebukuro is abit of a walk but they do have another outlet at Shibuya. A5 wagyu gyukatsu set: - A5 wagyu spicy broth ramen - Gyukatsu We got the set and it comes with different sides. The noodles for the broth is so springy and the broth is not salty. The wagyu is so soft and really complements the ramen. For the broth is not as spicy, for those spice lovers I would recommend to add on spice. The gyukatsu was served with a hot plate for us to grill the meat ( recommended 20secs on each side) it also comes with the sauce and wasabi on the side. Wagyu white broth ramen: For those who can’t take spice, this ramen is great for you to try as the broth is milky and it is even suitable for kids. The broth is not salty and the noodle is springy Overall, I would recommend this place for muslim travellers who want a hot and full meal. Would definitely come back if we get the chance.

I was ordering Gyumon Special Ramen (Spicy) . Do not fool by the size, it looks not big but it would feel up your tummy very full. It's the first time I dine here so for spiciness level I didn't adjust, would like to see how spicy it is based on the standard spiciness here. The restaurant offers levels of spiciness with extra cost. As an Indonesian, their standard of spiciness is not spicy at all. So for chillies and spicy lovers, definitely you need to ask extra level for your order. The broth of the Ramen is thick served with small dices of beef. For personal taste as I love my noodles are soft, their standard prep is not soft enough for me. So maybe can tell next visit to make it softer as personal request of possible. So, If you are around Ikebukuro, go experience it! There are more options of dishes in Gyumon Halal but unfortunately I am too full to try other

I came here because of grand opening for the store. Luckily 50% off by showing the promotion from Instagram. I ordered Wagyu Spicy Broth Ramen and Half Gyouza. As a spicy lover, the taste of broth was mostly from Chili oil taste, and was too oily. I never mind with that, because i'm Indonesian understand that Japanese cooking can't be too spicy as Indonesian cooking. I still recommended it if you want to experience ramen with wagyu chunks topping. 😁👍🏼 Also, there was a manager store also helped to serve menu to the table. Surprisingly came to the store. Most important one is they provide prayer room with wudhu place inside the prayer room. Thanks for providing the prayer room. But i hope the wudhu place not in near head position, it would be nice in feet place. Because wet feet could wet the prayer mat.

We arrived before the store opened. A kind man let us in while we waited for them to prepare. This time, I ordered Spicy Halal ramen with a giant crispy topping and added spice to level 10. It was indeed spicier than if you don't add any extra spice. However, even with this level of spiciness, I could still eat it without drinking any water until I finished the ramen. As Indonesians, don't be afraid to try it; we can still eat it and enjoy the delicious broth. For those who are afraid of spicy food, it's better to start at level 1 before increasing to level 10. We also ordered ramen with white broth and giant crispy karaage. This Halal Wagyu Ramen is highly recommended at any of their locations, whether in Shibuya, Ikebukuro, or Asakusa.
