I’m usually not the biggest fan of Hakata style ramen with thin noodles but this was one of the few places open and I decided to give it a try. To my surprise, it was actually pretty good. Much better than most Hakata style ramen I’ve had in the past. I never cared for thin hakata style noodles but the broth here was good and carried the whole ramen. I had the “negi” (green onion) ramen which comes with 2 chashu pork and some “kikurage” (wood ear mushroom) as well as a seasoned egg extra. I also bought a noodle refill known as “kaedama”. One gripe I had was that I ordered my first set of noodles to be cooked on the harder side, like al dente, and my 2nd set as normal. The thin noodles which comes with it are well cooked and go really well with the broth. The thin chashus (pork) are also properly cooked and quite tasty.
