We were exploring Nezu and the sweet potato flambe caught our attention so we decided to give this place a shot.
The space was beautiful, even on a gloomy day. There were multiple levels with lots of windows and sunlight. We would have loved to come here when it was a nice day so we could sit outside and enjoy everything.
The coffee I had was rather mediocre. Nothing special to write home about.
Maybe the lattes or other specialty drinks are better but I wasn't in the mood to try one. My friend had a latte and enjoyed it. So take my opinion for what you will.
The sweet potato flambe was excellent though. It was a decent size and interesting take on a dessert. We were kind of surprised to see that salt was included on the side and didn't remember it was there until the end but adding it did add a little bit of complexity to the dish.
The ice cream that also came with it was quite nice. It was smooth and creamy, not...
Read moreI dislike leaving bad reviews, but this place truly deserves one. Photography is allowed except for staff, which is just common sense in my opinion. However, a woman arranging flowers rudely reprimanded and yelled at my Japanese friend in English, despite the fact that she wasn’t photographing her at all but an entirely different space. Her attitude was uncalled for.
The double espresso I ordered was appalling. It came in a tiny paper cup—barely the size of a coffee sample—and cost 500 yen. Preposterous. That’s neither how you serve nor make an espresso.
The matcha dessert was average at best and overpriced. There was no mention of milk in it, meaning allergens weren’t properly listed. My friend’s French toast was mediocre as well, and they oddly served bacon on the side of a sweet dish.
The service was passable, but that was the least of the problems we...

Holiday Lunch After eating yakiniku, I was curious about this restaurant. Go straight to the take-out window on your right, and you will find the entrance on your right. The ceiling is high and you can eat and drink in the garden. Also, like a florist, the tables in the store are decorated with beautiful fresh flowers from time to time, allowing you to spend a relaxing and tranquil time. The staff is friendly, and if you have any questions, they will answer with a smile, making you feel at home. This time, I ordered a cafe latte, but I was too full to eat the delicious-looking cheesecake after lunch, so I decided to order it on my next visit. I was so comfortable that I lost track of time as I chatted with the woman sitting next to me, a woman from the neighborhood. I think I'll try going up the sleeve stairs next time, as there is a second floor with high ceilings. It is probably the best equipped store in the area! Needless to say, the lattes were moderately good and the detox water was free to drink as much as you wanted! Like Cafe Sara in Uenosakuragi and Chalet Swiss Minis on the Suwata Shrine side, this store is worth a visit! The place is located in the cemetery (around the entrance), so it will be a good place to take a break from visiting graves from now on. I hope the store is not too crowded and can be opened anytime (laugh). You should go there after checking the holiday notice and daily...
