Hona Azabu — Restaurant in Tokyo

Highly, highly recommend the 11 course menu. It is absolutely fantastic and probably the place I will give whenever asked for any food recommendation in Tokyo. The cooks where a delight even down to the traditional following our the restaurant and saying goodbye with a bow. The menu was the highlight though, although some will never be my favorite such as Japanese (raw) chicken, every single dish was never the less a tasting experience. Just outstanding food and plenty so you cannot leave hungry. Just WOW.

So why only 4 stars? A little discrimination from the front waiter that I cannot ignore. When we arrived the waiter directed us to the bar and when we asked for a table was told that those were only upon reservation. Completely understandable and no problem, we took the bar - which I would actually recommend for the experience, each dish is cooked just for you -, but fast forward 10 minutes later, two Japanese girls walks in and get seated at a table after confirming they have no...

The okonomiyaki and yakisoba were absolutely fantastic! The flavors were perfectly balanced — rich, savory, and full of depth without being too heavy. The okonomiyaki was soft on the inside, crispy on the outside, and loaded with fresh ingredients. The yakisoba had just the right texture, with that perfect smoky flavor from the grill. Everything came out hot and fresh, and you could really taste the care that went into cooking. Definitely a must-try if you want an authentic and delicious Japanese...

Literally perfect, the food was top notch, I mean seriously excellent, I was goin all food wars this was so good, like my clothes were ripping off and everything.
