This was extremely near to my hotel (directly opposite the road) and I wanted to drop by on my very first night, but it was too dark and the gate was closed from the outside, so definitely only recommended to come when it's in the day. Although it was situated right next to a shopping mall, I think they close this part of the garden out to the public when it's at night for safety reasons.
Decided to try my luck again the next morning (around 9am) and it was a great decision. The weather was cooling, there were several locals walking their dogs here and overall the vibes were really warm and homely.
