Hop Duvel — Restaurant in Tokyo

I tried to reserve a seat from 19:30 but was told there is no seat until 20:00, so I requested for reservation from 20:00 but also to call me if any seat becomes available before 20:00. I receive a call at 18:00 but could not pick up the phone, and later discovered from my voice mail that there was a cancellation, and the seat was available from 18:00. I call back at around 19:00 but was told that the seat is already taken, and there is not a seat for me even from 20:00. I complained but then the restaurant owner came on the phone and raised his voice to me saying "I can not leave seats vacant, because we are running this restaurant on business!" So I lost my chance of eating yakitori with Belgian beer that night, and it was farewell to my once...

Had a yakitori course with a few people from different countries. All the yakitori were great and the atmosphere was awesome. Although there were some changes in the reservation, this place was nice to sit us at the corner of the bar, so that we can have conversations while having dinner. If you are looking for a very fancy restaurant with a table, this might not be the one, but if you want to have an authentic yakitori experience with great food, this is a good place...

Came foe dinner on a Thursday night around 7pm and the place was full - we had a booking and highly suggest you do the same if you want to eat here. We had a course with around 8 yakitori and 3 beers each and added 1 additional yakitori which came to around 10, 000 yen each. Not the cheapest but it was really nice yakitori and beer as well. Definitely worth trying of you enjoy...
