I’m donut is the best donut shop in Tokyo, Japan that you should not miss. So far I have been to the Harajuku, Nakameguro, and Ikebukuro locations. Recently I went to the Shibuya location.
Compared with other places, this location is the best.
The pros and cons:
Shibuya has two locations. One is for gluten-free donuts. This place is just across the street.
However, this location has the most flavors and choices.
The line at this store is relatively short because it is a little farther from Shibuya Station.
The line, however, was kind of slow due to the size of the shop and its limited space. I believe the main reason is that all the donuts look pretty and delicious, so people have a hard time picking what they like.
Overall, we bought five different flavors. It is tough to choose which one was the best.
Cocoa is always a classic. Lemon is very refreshing. The fig Greek yogurt cream with walnuts was a highlight amongst our five flavors.
It’s light and creamy inside. It has a fig filling mixed with Greek yogurt and walnuts. We highly recommend it. I can’t wait to...
Read moreI saw they have doughnut sandwiches via their Instagram, so I lined up for an hour and entered the shop at 13.45 on Sunday. However there was no doughnut sandwich, and I was extremely disappointed. The shop described itself as having around 80 doughnuts, but I saw around 20 different doughnuts only. And you will not know what they are selling unless line up for an hour to enter the shop. That is absolutely time waisting and I believe that is one of their business strategies. Also, they didn't have clear instructions to lead the customers to take doughnuts. I just based on common sense, take the forefront doughnut, then the staff mad about that and became impolite. I am not trying to say "The customer is always right", I want to point out that her attitude is not suitable as a staff. Even though I shared my opinions with their shop via Instagram, they ignored me as well. So might be that's their shop's attitude??? Overall, the 1 star is for the doughnuts. And I will never go to...
Read morethe line is always long , fortunately we didn’t wait long ~ 15-20 minutes on a Sunday afternoon when we walked by. everyone gets a few since they’re small donuts. we tried the nana french cruller, broiche, broiche with fruit? (powdered), and pistachio cream (powdered). the first two were good donuts, flight fluffy, but nothing special at all. the powdered ones were better, but still i didn’t think it was anything extraordinary. when we finally made it into the store, you feel rushed, there’s en employee refilling donuts, but she doesn’t great you or offer any help, kinda just shoved by you, collect/refills donuts. when you pay they tell you @ 4 you get the box, won’t give you any other options. the lines make it overhyped and overpriced, it was ¥15 for 4 donuts. i wouldn’t go out of my way for it or really wait at all, there’s so many better treats in Japan. (7 levels of matcha 🍦 the street behind, cakes from department...
