Ate here a few months ago and they made the sesame dipping sauce vegan for us so that we could try the soba (which was amazing), but when we went yesterday we found out IT NOW HAS DASHI IN IT 😭 and they apparently cannot make it without it. They do not have any vegan options now unless you enjoy eating plain soba... 👎🏼
One star because while most places in Tokyo are realising it's 2018 and offering vegan options to keep up with demand, this place is going backwards and taking their only vegan option away. Even the tempura dipping sauce has dashi in it.
I've actually had better luck at the vending machine soba shops in Tokyo station because sometimes they are willing to make us a vegan dipping sauce without dashi, which is crazy because it's about 1/4 of the price! Just wish there was an option for higher quality...

Hearty soba noodles for great value. Their default cut is thick noodles, so be sure to ask for thin-cut noodles if that’s what you prefer (personally, thin-cuts go better with sesame broth). The tempura and egg rolls were excellent. Friendly service!
