Karaoke bar in Ikebukuro around ‘Romance’ (Romansu) street.

You have to walk up a flight of stairs.

It’s smaller than I thought, but we went on a weekend night, and there was still a table available. You can also sit at the counter if you want.

The staff is hit or miss. The person who first greeted us was very blunt to the point of rudeness. He told my friend to “keep that food bag out of sight.”

He didn’t even ask what kind of beer we wanted, and just brought our whatever. They have a large selection of cocktails.

There is a table charge in addition to the drink price (around ¥2000? I don’t remember) , and they will charge you per 30mins or so if you stay over 2 hours.

You’ll have to ask for the karaoke machine to queue your song. You might have to wait for a mic, so best not to come here if you’re worried about sharing germs.

It might take a while to get to your song, and they discourage you to sing twice in a row. You can also line up to play darts, which was fun. The staff will hype you up.

The rest of the staff was super friendly, and they will even sing a song with you if you ask. They’re REALLY good at singing!

Bathroom was tiny, so it may be awkward if you are big and tall.

Clientele is mostly young and surprisingly great at karaoke.

Overall decent karaoke place! Plenty of restaurants around to eat before/after...

My friends and I went three days ago and had a really great time so we decided to go again tonight. Unfortunately, we did not have a great time due to the system of requesting songs. When we first arrived we queued some songs and we didn’t see our song until an hour later. On the screen it would show our song as the fifth song in the queue and as it got closer to our turn, our song kept getting pushed back in the queue. We suspect that our songs were being pushed down on the list from either the staff or the regulars who were friends with the staff, as it seems like they were singing majority of the time. When we went on Wednesday night, it was a lot better because everyone showed proper etiquette and only requested one song at a time. There was one staff member tonight who helped us get one of our songs played and he was also very nice. In the end we stayed for 2 hours and were only able to sing 2 songs. I still enjoyed listening to others song, hence the 3 stars, but I will not be returning due to unfair treatment. Additionally, the alcohol seemed...

Wanted to go back to play in this bar, but it was a very bad experience. Unfortunately, unpleasant people come in and make my friend (weaker than me about drink) drunk and pay the bill. I won't go back again. The staff were polite, even to the point of paying the bill. They had no respect for us at all in understanding...
