Karubi-chan Shinjuku – A Must-Visit for Yakiniku Lovers
If you’re in Tokyo and looking for a fantastic yakiniku experience, Karubi-chan Shinjuku is the place to go. The restaurant offers an affordable all-you-can-eat menu with high-quality meats, including kalbi, horumon, and marinated samgyeopsal. For just 2,178 yen, you get 60 minutes of unlimited deliciousness—an incredible deal for the quality and variety of food.
The meat is well-seasoned and incredibly flavorful, and you can grill it to your preference right at your table. The service is quick and efficient, with staff always ready to assist. Despite being a busy spot, the atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, making it perfect for both solo diners and groups.
One of the highlights is that they offer menus in multiple languages, which makes ordering very easy even if you don’t speak Japanese. The restaurant is also family-friendly, and the pricing makes it a great option for travelers on a budget.
Overall, Karubi-chan Shinjuku exceeded my expectations. The combination of great food, excellent service, and unbeatable prices makes it a must-visit for anyone craving yakiniku in Tokyo. Highly...
Read moreI have to say after having many fine yakiniku meals out - this one was terrible. The meat arrived frozen, it took a while to cook and was of low quality. Actually getting the attention of the staff depends on how loud you can shout 'Sumimasen'; which I had to do four times before we were served. This restaurant tries every trick in the book to fool those not versed in the Japanese language - frozen meat, delayed service and lying about what time we arrived.
It is a yakiniku in Shinjuku - if you want a nice relaxed meal, this is not the place for you. The staff want to push you out of the door to allow the next gullible people to sit down so they can make more money.
For a little bit more, or even less in some circumstances; you could go to a much nicer establishment with friendlier staff and no hidden charges, I.e. table charge and charging for food that we were not given the time to eat. If you force us out of your restaurant because you have a booking, don't charge for food we could not eat because of your...
Read moreThere are other better chain yakiniku places where you can spend your money on for tabehoudai and nomihoudai. We were told that last about last order so we ordered a couple of plates more and last drinks. After about 5 minutes of receiving the order they keep on hovering on our table and we were told we need to get out and leave whatever we haven’t finished. It was a waste of food when they could have let us stay because there were just literally us and another table of customers at that time. We could have finished our food if they let us stay for 15 minutes more. Other tabehoudai places lets you finish all the food you order after you made the last order. It was just a horrible experience from an omise in Japan. Especially for my friends who are 1st time visitors of yakiniku in Japan. I should’ve chosen the regular chain that I usually go to. But nonetheless, I do not...
