If you’re a non-smoker, do yourself a favor and stay far away from this place. I visited this restaurant expecting a cozy meal in what looked like a charming, intimate space. Instead, I found myself surrounded by thick clouds of cigarette smoke in an incredibly small and poorly ventilated environment.
Multiple people were smoking indoors—cigarette after cigarette—completely disregarding the comfort and health of others. The air was so dense with smoke, it was hard to breathe, let alone enjoy the food (which, by the way, wasn’t good enough to justify the discomfort). My clothes, hair, and even skin reeked of smoke long after I left.
For anyone who doesn’t smoke, has asthma, allergies, or simply values clean air, this restaurant is a nightmare. It felt more like a smoky bar from the 80s than a modern dining space. It’s truly unacceptable in this day and age for a restaurant to ignore basic courtesy and public health by allowing indoor smoking in such a confined area.
This is not just unpleasant—it’s dangerous and inconsiderate. Until they implement a no-smoking policy, I’ll never return, and I strongly advise other non-smokers to avoid this place completely. The irony; they ask you to take off your shoes for a “clean...
Read moreMouthwatering, wonderful gluten-free okonomiyaki! Walked in about fifteen minutes after they opened and asked about gluten-free as I had read conflicting information online, and they said they can do it. The hostess did get nervous when I said I had a gluten allergy (really I have celiac disease but this can be more complicated to explain). But I’m not super sensitive to cross-contamination so I told her I wouldn’t die, and took a gluteguard before eating.
I went by myself and was seated quickly. Menu is very clearly labeled, which the hostess was quick to point out to me, and all the okonomiyaki can be made gluten-free.
Overall they are good about cross-contamination in terms of keeping the gluten-free separate and using different utensils. Unsure about the noodles being boiled in separate water, but they seemed to appear from somewhere else rather than the big group boiling station. The one place I saw certain cross-contamination was when mine was brushed with a common vat of sauce that was just used to brush the normal okonomiyaki. But no gluten reaction afterward!
Okonomiyaki was absolutely scrumptious! Loved it and I wish I had eaten here more than once! Very kind and accommodating staff, fun vibrant...

We made a reservation online for the course menu. We arrived right at open and were quickly seated. Everyone was friendly and it was a very lively atmosphere with the staff loudly greeting everyone and sending them off.
I'm actually a very picky eater and don't eat much Japanese food, but my boyfriend and I were able to enjoy the shared course meal together. I was able to try everything and he could finish what I wasn't able to. That said, everything was very delicious.
We were only able to get 2 drinks each during our time there as it was so busy and a bit hard to get a staff members attention for a refill. There was also a small bit of confusion at the end when paying as we had booked online. The booking said we paid online but our card hadn't been charged so we had to ask if we had paid already or if we still needed to, and we did still need to. Not a problem, just a confusing situation. The phrasing of the tablelog reservation system is a bit odd, but the restaurant itself handled it well.
And best of all: THE BABY. I am now a huge fan of The Teppan Baby and will be scouring the gacha machines for them the...
