Katsuya in Asakusa is a great option for those looking for a quick, no-frills meal. The curry is decent—tasty enough to satisfy but not particularly remarkable. It’s the kind of dish you’d expect from a casual chain, with flavors that hit the spot without being overly complex or memorable. The ordering process is straightforward, making it easy to get your food without any unnecessary delays. The service is fast, which is perfect if you're in a hurry or simply craving something quick.

While the food won’t wow you, Katsuya does the job when you need a simple meal that won’t take too long to arrive. It’s ideal if you’re in Asakusa for sightseeing and just want something reliable and easy. Don’t expect an exceptional culinary experience, but for a fast, filling meal, Katsuya is a solid choice that...

This was our first time eating at a Katsuya and the food is delicious. However what makes this a one star is the employees. The woman taking orders was very rude and looked angry that we even came in. We loved the food so much we came back to get a take out bowl and she asked us to step aside and proceeded to only take orders from Japanese speaking customers. We left without ordering anything because we have never been so insulted before. This is the WORST customer service I have ever experienced and the only time someone was so rude and racist to us in Japan. It really is a shame such great Japanese cuisine is being represented by such terrible people, definitely not up to the high standards that I come to...

This place is a solid 5 stars. I can even give them double 5 stars, if only possible. The food is amazing. I just don't know the names of the food as they were in Japanese, but please refer to the pics on the best ones to try. One problem though is that their staff are not that good in English so you have to select your order by pointing it. But that is not a deal-breaker ar all. Their staff are very attentive and accommodating. Lastly, the place also has limited seats, but we never had a problem despite being a group of 8 adults and 2 kids. You will just have to split together to get seated sooner. I highly recommend this place, so do try out when you...
