Nice dinner at this izakaya on hoppy street. The dishes were amazing, I ordered the eggplant and fried chicken and were both absolutely delicious. The waitress was very kind, gave us menus in english and was able to recommend me some drinks. The atmosphere is also nice, there’s music playing in the background while people are chatting around. I feel it could be kept a bit cleaner, i saw a small cockroach running near the table and was a bit worried. Apart from that I really enjoyed my meal here! I don’t have pictures of the dishes because everything looked so good and I ate it...

The staff is extremely rude and impolite. First of all, they try to rip you off. They add a 410yen for every person and ask you to order at least one plate and one apetizer (they even tell you which one). We ask if we could change our table after one got free and they said it was booked, another table got free and again they said the same thing but we found out it was not true. He said you can’t change table once you are seating and if we didnt like we could leave. At the end we cancelled our order and left. Dont get fooled by the reviews, it is a...

Izakaya style food and drinks, but the food really surprised me.

Order:

  1. The flounder is the best dish in my opinion (super soft and buttery, melts in the mouth)
  2. kaarage was super nice and crispy as well
  3. edamame is salted so if you like salty edamame you will love it.

We ordered everything and we liked it. Great if you want to drink and eat nice fried food.

They do charge a cover charge (400+ JPY) and you can pick between potato salad or Tarako. Did not have to...
