Disgusting, Unsafe, and Completely Misrepresented – DO NOT STAY HERE. The worst hotel I’ve stayed at.
I rarely leave horrible reviews, but I feel obligated to warn others: do not stay at this hotel. This was one of the most disgusting, unsafe, and misleading places I’ve ever had the misfortune of booking.
First of all, the photos and description online are outright lies. The building is extremely old and neglected — nothing like what was advertised. Wallpaper was literally peeling off the walls, there were dark, suspicious stains all over the room — on the floors, walls, and even the ceiling — and the entire space smelled musty and unclean.
Bugs and flies were in the bedroom. I don’t know how this place is even allowed to operate. The level of cleanliness was beyond unacceptable — it honestly felt like a health hazard. I didn't feel safe touching anything, and I left with my belongings smelling like the room. The listing promised things like a modern interior, clean facilities, and working amenities — none of which were true. The Wi-Fi barely worked, the “breakfast” was extra cost and stale and inedible, and there were no basic comforts. Additionally our pajamas were taken away after one night of cleaning and we never received a new one. The entire experience was deceptive and felt like a scam.
On top of that, the staff didn’t seem to care. When I raised concerns, I was dismissed with a shrug and told there were “no other rooms” — as if moving to another filthy room would’ve fixed anything. No apology, no effort to help, just complete indifference.
I genuinely feared for my health and safety during my stay. If I could have, I would have switched hotels.
Avoid this place at all costs. It's unsanitary, unsafe, and completely misrepresented. I wouldn’t wish this experience on anyone.
Additionally, it’s not in a good location. Not conveniently near the main subway train lines to the city.
The tv is awkwardly place and juts out of the wall leading it to hit us multiple times. The rooms are already tiny as is.
The pictures and positive reviews are all false. Scam hotel.
The worst and dirtiest hotel I’ve stayed in period. It’s more like a motel. I wasn’t even allowed in the lounge as a guest.
There was construction outside (see photos) so we couldn’t even enjoy mornings in with the loud...

Location: it’s hard to beat: across the street from a shopping district that leads into the beautiful Senso-Ji and its famous and insanely busy sprawl of street stalls. There are also two 7-Elevens and one Lawson nearby, and it’s really close to a Tsukuba Express station and fairly close to a Ginza line station. My room smelled amazing with faint BBQ smells wafting from an awesome yakiniku place, Hontosaya, nearby. Despite being so close to a lot of busy places, this hotel manages to still be quiet and peaceful.
Room amenities: the room size is what you would expect for any average hotel in Tokyo. But it was clean and I like that there were no open clefts in the bedding or other areas of the room to lose small possessions in. There are also many USB and power plugs throughout, including two at the head of the bed. There is also a fabric freshener spray, shoe polisher, and slippers provided. My favorite is the shower — door closes firmly, and there were rotating body spray spigots in addition to the overhead and the handheld.
Extra highlights: the lobby is clean, and service was good. There is also an expresso machine, a variety of interesting teas, nightly dessert (e.g., egg tart, donuts) offered between 8-10pm. Combs and razors are also available in the lobby.
Needs work: my only minor miff with this place was that there are only 2 elevators with no special hailing system to make the elevators more efficient. During peak traffic hours, you can wait a long time before finding an elevator down to the ground floor. Stairs are only for...
Read moreFrom Haneda Airport, you can take a bus directly to Asakusa Station. After exiting the station, you will find the Kaminarimon scenic spot. It takes 15 to 20 minutes to walk from the main road to the hotel. There is a Tsukiji Line Asakusa A3 entrance next to the hotel, which leads directly to Akihabara, but you cannot go there. From Haneda Airport, you must take the JR line. Generally speaking, the transportation is convenient. There are no big shopping malls nearby. You have to go to Ginza or Shibuya to buy. You don’t need to waste time in this area. There is only one Uniqlo.Hygiene: We stayed for 5 days in a row, and only one day was for general cleaning. The rest were simple cleaning and changing toiletries.Facilities: There is free coffee in the hotel lobby every day, and late-night desserts after 8 pm are also free. They are not available after you take them. I tried the chocolate scones which were good. I did not book breakfast. I will not comment on this part.Service: Just normal Japanese service with a good attitude. There is a front desk who can speak Chinese, but he may not be there when you check in. You need to pay additional taxes when you check in. It is very rare. We only paid 200 yen for 5 days. Be prepared. Point cashFood: There is really a paradise of small shops and food nearby. It’s good to just find one in the alley. There is a ramen restaurant next to the hotel, which is opened by a pair of grandparents. It’s very good. It only accepts cash. It seems to be closed on Mondays. Finally, I wish you all a happy trip if you...
