I can tell you I was a litle unsure how this whole experience would be but I was gladly surprised.
Not being able to attend a sumo tournament was a bit of a downer for us during our stay but we did stumble across Asakusa Sumo Club. What an absolutely cool experience!!!
Easy to find and we were happily welcomed when we arrived and shown through to our seats. Did you know that food is included and that it is ALL YOU CAN EAT, with your first drink FREE!
Again I was surprised but the food was so good, the chicken meatballs in the hotpot was so yummy and all the additional sides like karage and desert YUM YUM YUM. And if you wanted more just scan the QR code and order more via the app where you can choose individual items over and over again. TIME TO WATCH AND EAT LIKE A SUMO!!
The host was so informative guiding us through the show and giving us a few lessons! Ganbatte!!! he was really awesome spoke great english and was funny.
The show was great, fun and interactive where each side gets a sumo to cheer on and boy do they want you to make a noise... we were crashing tables and stomping to cheer our Sumo on. ASANAKUMA!
Such a cool experience and I would send all my friends! You also leave with included gift bags and photos.
thanks heaps for the experience team, you all done such a great job!

Read moreThe worst restaurant I have ever tried in Japan . The set of the meals on menu don’t have any pics . Only the name of the dishes . I order a set which need 3000 yuan . Just only for a meal with two chicken , a very small hot pot , and two inari sushi . 3000 yens ! I can use this money to eat so many yakiniku in almost every place . Too ridiculous that it can be a restaurant. As a foreigner who travels Japan and love it very much . I’m upset with this kind of bad food and the experience. I hope no one will try this . This is totally junk food
I found the feedback by Shun said that you can have a set like my pic with 1200 yens . That is totally a lie . You can watch the menu which the store posted on the internet . There is no set with 1200 yens, only 3000 yens’ set , and 1200 yens can only buy the paper hot pot ! Only ! Not even the 1000 yens on the menu that the store posted . It is a super new store but the menu is already raise 200 yens in some 單品注文!Damn idk Japanese will lie so obviously . This store only worth zero star !
They don’t even show what they ordered . Moreover , they took the pics of all store when there is no one inside . No show and no souvenir definitely ! If anyone try to trust the feedback by those kind of fake words . Go and waste your money and be a...
Read moreWe had an absolutely fantastic time at the Asakusa Sumo Club! It was such a fun and unique experience — our kids were completely captivated and we were all laughing throughout. The sumo wrestlers were not only impressive but incredibly entertaining, and the MC did a great job explaining everything in English, which made it easy to follow and even more enjoyable.
The food was delicious and all-you-can-eat, which was a treat in itself! Fun fact: sumo wrestlers eat between 6,000 to 10,000 calories per meal — and now we understand why! My husband even got the chance to step into the ring and try wrestling one of the fighters. He said it felt like trying to push a tree with roots in the ground — such a hilarious and memorable moment.
We also loved learning about the rituals, exercises, and rules of sumo, which added a cultural depth to the whole event. And to top it all off, there was a beautiful geisha dance performance — graceful and mesmerizing. Highly recommend this experience for families, couples, or anyone curious about Japanese culture with...
