Kishoucho Syokudo — Restaurant in Tokyo

A solid 4 stars and a great experience especially if you have not experienced the cafeteria style in Japan. Food is ordered by the ticket machines and going there is like a secret hideout. But when you get there, especially around lunch hour, it's packed with office workers which is a sign you are at the right place. Food is delicious, and I had a spicy chicken katsu dish which was fried with a light batter, but the standout was the sauce that's got a nice kick to it. The teishoku meal was ¥700 which is not super cheap, but good value for the taste of the food. Oh also comes with free tea. You do need to rince your dishes when you finish which usually has a massive line... although it was a bit of a novelty for...

I ran into this place by accident. I was in the museum above and was curious what was in the basement level. It was the cafeteria! I didn't know it had a proper name. It was a restaurant for the office workers. I had curry rice, it was delicious! A simple meal, basic and unadulterated, a pure essence of traditional "fast food." It was fun ordering from the vending machine (there were mock dishes set up to show the daily specials), eating among the office workers, and taking up the tray to the dishwashers. ずっと気になってましたが、付近で仕事していなかったりで行けずやっと行けました○

入口にある二台の券売機で、食券を買いそれをお店の方に渡して引き換えるスタイルです。 Suicaが支払いに使えてとても便利です。（時短につながっている様に感じました。）

メニューも週で変わるようですし、夜もあるなんて素敵すぎる(⁠^⁠^⁠) お値段もお手頃ですし…自分の職場にもこんな食堂有ってほしいと思います○

今回はB定食にしました。 鯖適度な大きさで美味しかったです。 小鉢は春巻きを選びましたが、その日の何種類かより選べます。（この日はサラダなど） ご飯、お味噌汁もつきます。 ご飯も、しっとりしていて美味しかったです。 やはり、こういうシンプルな定食が食べれるって良いですね。

メニューも豊富だし。

お茶はボタン式で煎茶、玄米茶、お水（全て温冷）が有ります。

食べ終わったら、返却口に持って行きお皿を軽く水で汚れを落とし流しに入れていく方式でした。

建物も新しく食堂もきれいなのと、席数もそれなりに有り、居心地が良かったです。 パーテーションも有り、安心でした。

私の様な一般の者、近隣のビルの方も使用可能なのがありがたいです。 弁当も売っておりました。

この付近にお昼に行って見て、お手頃のお弁当が様々な所で販売されていたり、充実していて羨ましく思いました。

館内のお昼の無料のプラネタリウムも楽しめ、良いことしかありませんでした。
