when we were having the udon for our shabu shabu, we noticed that there was a fly in the broth but the staff (not sure if they actually saw it) went on to serve the noodles we decided to check ourselves and proceeded to find the fly and showed it to another staff member she took the fly away but not the contaminated noodles and did not offer any compensation or solution we assumed she must have ordered the kitchen to cook us new noodles so we waited for around 10 minutes but nothing happened then we informed the staff member then that we didn’t need the udon anymore (as in the freshly cooked batch) and she proceeded to just take the contaminated batch away we were asked to pay the full amount even though we didn’t complete the set course, not because we refused to eat but because the food (udon) was contaminated we have visited this restaurant quite a few times in the past and it was the consistent quality that we loved about it this was a truly disappointing experience and we’re not sure if we will return next time w...

Nice traditional shabu-shabu. You can learn the right way to eat shabushabu here. So good beef and veg. Have 4 choice of beef In 1 person shabu set include Appetizer (seaweed w.vinegar),Beef(120g.),Vegetable,Ponzu and sesame sauce, Rice that you can refill, Ricecake,udon and dessert.

Service was really exellent. Thank you to Ms. Harusame 春雨 ~ She made my dining so special and memorable. She did a good takecare and try to communicated with us even she don't know some words in english. She try to practice english with her little notebook that have words and sentence inside(so cute notebook😆). Anyway she have a good english skill :-)

An excellent choice for Shabu-Shabu in Ueno. The entrance is a bit camouflaged, look for the sign. The entrance is a wide stairway at street level that goes down and then to the right. There's a small waiting area with chairs and coat racks just before the doors. At a late hour on a weekday we were able to get in with no reservation, but since people tend to linger for Shabu-Shabu you might consider one, especially if you have a large party.
