I went in mid April 2025 and was flabbergasted by the most painful and perverted massage I have ever received in my life.
I wasn’t sure if I was imagining it until I went to CN (nearby) for a massage the next day. CN gave me an effective, professional massage and showed me that I wasn’t imagining it at this establishment.
The establishment was on an upper floor of a narrow, dark building on an alley with bars and clubs. It was difficult to find because there were no signs for this establishment on the building.
Mori was the only one there, and he was very friendly. The establishment was probably about 200 square feet at most, with 3 beds inside, separated by flimsy curtains that are used around hospital beds (curtains don’t reach all the way to the floor).
Mori asked me to sign waivers and pay up front. I didn’t think this was odd until I went to CN the next day. I should also note he didn’t give me a receipt until I asked for it at the end, at which point he wrote me a hand-written receipt.
He then gave me clothes to change into — thin basketball shorts and t shirt. He used a thin towel to cover my body, but it kept sliding off and didn’t do much in terms of providing a barrier between his hands and my body.
For one hour, I was in extreme pain when Mori massaged me. I was grimacing almost the entire hour and yelping at times, and he just kept saying my body was exhausted and in a lot of pain.
Bad massage is 1 thing, but perverted motions is another. During the entire 1 hour massage, he was kneading me with his whole body, not just his hands. His lower body was oftentimes pushed up against my body as he made those whole body thrusting motions. Given that I had never had a massage in Japan, he seemed like a nice guy, the language barrier was tough, and the fact that I truly was tired — I doubted my gut instinct. Again, it wasn’t until I had my professional experience at CN the next day that I realized there were many things wrong with this particular establishment.
After the massage, Mori gave me a cup of cold water (odd since most massage places give a lukewarm or warm drink after the body has been “relaxed”). I quickly changed and left, feeling drained, in more pain than when I had entered, and puzzled by...
Read moreMy back and shoulders were really stiff and tired from my desk job so I went here on my vacation, and definitely got the best massage I've ever gotten!
Mori was very highly skilled and also very polite and friendly. It was totally fine even though I could only speak a little bit of Japanese as a tourist.
Everywhere he pressed hurt real good and he immediately noticed which areas needed the most work. My back now feels very tender on the day after (probably because I'm not used to massages) but also in a good way, like better posture seems to feel more natural for my back now.
If I come to Tokyo again I would go here again for sure, I highly recommend it. :)
PS. It's a very small place on the fifth floor of the apartment building, there is an elevator inside the building that is not immediately obvious from...
Read moreFirst shiatsu massage, and I must say, it was amazing ! I would definitely come back. These men were very professional and skilled. It is worth a visit.
This establishment has 3 beds in one room, provides a change of clothes, amd uses towels as a barrier. It was a nice change of pace to the typical Swedish massage--and I prefer this style much more.
The set up is different than typical for Americans, so be understanding of different cultures etc.
After an exhausting 6+ days of walking 10+ miles a day, this was beyond welcome. I wish we'd found this place on day 1; we would have gone back every evening...
