If you’re visiting Tokyo and want to try authentic ramen, this place is a hidden gem. 🍜
The noodles are chewy and satisfying, and the clear soy-sauce broth is light yet flavorful. You even get two types of pork (chashu) with different textures—all for only ¥820, which is amazing value.
Order your meal from the vending machine outside (cash only). You can also choose your noodle thickness when you enter—most people go for the medium.
The shop is clean and cozy, with counter seating only. It was half full when I arrived just after noon, but quickly filled up.
Highly recommended for anyone who wants a delicious, authentic ramen...
This is a restaurant specializing in Ramen with a few things that need to be improved in the structure of the restaurant. It's necessary to purchase a meal ticket in advance from the ticket vending machine located outside the entrance. However, the ticket vending machine is blocked by the restaurant's curtain, making it difficult to see the buttons. Of course, you can get rid of the curtain, but on a bad day, you have to get rid of the wet curtain, which may make some people feel uncomfortable. There are steps at the entrance, and the aisle behind the counter seats is narrow, so people with disabilities such as wheelchairs and people with large luggage may find it difficult to use the restaurant. The ramen served to me was very well balanced. Although it does not have a outstandingly distinctive taste, I felt that the noodles, toppings, and soup were all well prepared from the beginning to the end of the meal. The amount of soup is a little small, but the aftertaste is clean, so I think it is a good dish for women as well. That is why I regret the structure of some parts of...
Read morereally good kitakata style ramen that is light and satisfying. the noodles are beautifully thick and chewy and the soup has a really savory yet light fragrance of niboshi. i really appreciate the torotaku don as a side here instead of the usual meaty-dons that just blends into the ramen without fanfare. the cold and crunchy torotaku stands out as a great contrasting palate cleanser between mouthfuls of the...
