My husband and I visited Tokyo in April and decided to stay at a boutique hotel instead of a larger one, and I'm so happy we did! Not only was this hotel beautiful on the inside, but also had the friendliest, most attentive staff!||||They always offered recommendations for food or sight-seeing and were always waiting for us downstairs to help us with whatever we may need. They definitely go above and beyond to make sure your stay is as pleasant as possible and we couldn't be more grateful for that!||||The rooms are also beautiful too. They were very spacious and because there were only 10 or so different rooms in the hotel total, it's super quiet and relaxing. The bathroom was probably my favorite part as it was large enough for two people to get ready in and came with a shower and an amazing soaking tub (which I definitely took advantage of). They stock the room with drinks, snacks, and high-quality beauty products to use while you're there. They turn-down your bed every evening and even make adorable origami to decorate your pillow.||||Since the hotel isn't on a main road, it's more quiet than usual and you do have to walk a little bit to get to restaurants/bars, but the subway is only a few blocks away so you can easily hop on within 15 minutes. ||||We stayed at a few places while we were in Japan, but this one BY FAR was our favorite and we can't wait to go back. Thank you SO much to the incredible staff there for making our Tokyo trip so...
Read moreMy college daughter and I were traveling from the US to Tokyo and found this gem of a hotel on Trip Advisor. Prior to arrival they were very helpful in providing dinner reservations for us. At check in you are warmly greeted with hot or cold tea and a sweet. That was the beginning of the exceptional service we received The staff anticipated every need and went above and beyond for us, we felt so very cared for. The room was large and comfortable, the bathroom had a wonderful handcrafted bathtub that was so relaxing after a long day of sightseeing. The bathroom amenities provided were abundant and excellent, and we loved the fluffy robes and yukata. The rooms included a fridge stocked with cold water and beer, and also had great Nespresso coffee machine, tea and snacks. Every time we returned to the hotel, the staff would greet us with a bottle of cold water or soda. |We loved the location, directly across from the subway and a quick walk to the JR Station. We ate a few times at the adjacent restaurant, the matcha beer and their own sake were very good, the food was very fresh and tasty. We already miss this wonderful hotel, and will always hold a special place in our memories as truly one of the best hotels overall we have ever stayed in. We are looking forward to going back and this will be our first choice of hotel to stay in when we...
Read moreThis is my first trip to Tokyo, Japan. I highly recommend this hotel to tourists especially you are first timer came to Tokyo. First of all, it’s close to all JR train & Tokyo Metro stations which is very convenient if you want to travel to other tourist spots. Secondly, 5-star guest services, check in procedure starts from giving us a cup of hot matcha and some snacks. I felt so warm and touching as a guest because we just got off from the plane and tired, this is a well prepared services and gave us a nice first experience. Thirdly, room facilities and amenities are well prepared and it surprised me that mini bar is free of charge and refill everyday; also there’s a laundry machine that you can use for free which is so great for tourists to relax after their trip and clean their own clothes at night. I want to specially thank Ms Kanda (神田) for her well trained hospitality services (good smiling, can speak English so well & offer help whenever she can during our stay) We truly enjoyed our first trip and stay in Ryumeikan Honten in Tokyo and I’ll definitely come back next time. Oh yes finally before I take a taxi to airport from our hotel, all staff were bowing to us. As a hotel worker, i never felt that hospitality services can do it in such way and I’m really thankful I stayed here and learnt from you guys, all of you...
