Sapporo Soup Curry Ito — Restaurant in Tokyo

I came to this place last year and thought the food was decent, so I recommended it to a lot of friends. But over time, the portions have shrunk, prices have gone up, and the attitude has gone completely downhill. When my Chinese friends visited Japan, I brought them here too—and we were all met with the same cold, dismissive attitude. We didn’t do anything wrong. We were polite, respectful customers. But the way we were treated—especially by the owner—was undeniably racist. This place clearly has a problem with non-Japanese customers. It’s not just bad service—it’s targeted, discriminatory behavior. Frankly, I’m shocked this place is still open. Racism should never be tolerated, no matter how good the food is. Japan deserves...

The chicken curry was so good! The meat fell off the bone and every ingredient felt perfectly cooked. I personally would have liked a bit more salt or something to customize the flavor but it is still a really good Hokkaido soup curry.

The curry i had in Hokkaido was maybe a little more flavorful, but this is still a must try if you don't go to Hokkaido (and don't want to wait in a line...

I have been to every soup curry shop in Tokyo and I keep coming back here …over 20 times and counting.

Their chicken is the best, both soft and fried.

And they give the most generous amount of charred broccoli 😍

The price has been adjusted up once but it’s still comparatively very reasonable compared to other shops.
