La coccola — Restaurant in Tokyo

5 stars for the reasonable price, great service, and good food. Was in the area and stopped by for dinner for 3. We had the pork/eggplant balsamic salad, wagyu cheek stew, and two types of pasta (gorgonzola and vongole). The salad was wonderfully warm and bright - pork was crisp and eggplant beautifully roasted. The wagyu cheek was an absolute winner - with melt in your mouth tenderness that went well with the potatoes. They were kind enough to slightly increase the portions of the wagyu because there were 3 of us, which I thought was an amazing show of hospitality. Pasta was al dente and warm.

The service was fantastic, provided by the owner, who was warm, friendly, and attentive throughout the evening. The chef, also the owner, prepared each dish with care and expertise, resulting in some of the most delicious food I have ever had.
