Cafe Casa — Restaurant in Tokyo

Coffee tastes OK, a bit expensive (starting around 800 yen). But they potentially charged us for sold-out items which we didn’t have. Also, the shop tried to delete the comment from the Japanese review platform even we have four witnesses (We are foreign tourists but 2 of us understand Japanese).

It’s a cash-only shop that we order food with the servant. Two items we tried to order were sold out already told by the servant. When we paid, the sold-out items were listed in the bill. If I didn’t notice it and stop, the transaction would go through without any doubt. How could they add the sold-out items onto the bill when we didn’t not even successfully order it at the table? After we insisted that there were items which were not ordered successfully, the servant deleted that from the bill, saying we canceled it—— but the true reason is the servant never took the order. I don’t like to be blamed for their mistake.

I got there when it wasn't too crowded. I ordered blend casa, and a baked apple. The order didn't take very long to be delivered, and it tasted nice. Overall it was a nice place, but the seats are really close together, other than that, it is enjoyable. My experience could have been different depending upon how busy it is, so make sure to check it before going...

Apparently this cafe was featured on TV recently, which is why it is so popular with locals lately. It is a nice cozy spot, and the coffee is the dark variety, but not totally burnt. It's the type of coffee that people who as e milk or cream would like. I enjoy all types, so I ordered two and both were nice. Not as good as specialty shops, but good for a nice...
