One area where this establishment excels is certainly in traditional Gujarati appetizer-type snacks offerings like pani puri and sev puri were just terrific, with a truly traditional flavor. Unfortunately, on a negative note, the paneer sabzi and thick tandoori roti were somewhat disappointing. With all that, however, ingredients were fresh, and as a whole, the quality was significantly better than what you find in most Nepali or Pakistani places, who typically serve more instant-type curries. Almost like eating in a hotel restaurant in India the place was also extremely clean and well-maintained. One minor negative aspect is portion size the portions are on the smaller side, and they are somewhat expensive. Nevertheless, the Gujarati appetizer dishes were amazingly great. Can they include items like thepla, handvo, sabudana vada, or poha on the menu as well?😆 Definitely a hidden gem that deserves to become a goto spot for Gujaratis 😆

Masala Bites is an outstanding Indian restaurant in Tokyo that truly delivers on both taste and hospitality. As a vegetarian, I was thoroughly impressed by the range of options available—from the perfectly spiced Paneer Butter Masala to the crispy, flavorful samosas. Every dish was fresh, aromatic, and true to authentic Indian flavors. The staff were exceptionally courteous and attentive, taking care to understand dietary needs and offering helpful recommendations. The ambiance is warm and welcoming, making it a great spot for both families and small groups. Highly recommend Masala Bites to anyone looking for genuine Indian vegetarian food in Tokyo. A must-visit for lovers of Indian cuisine! You can also visit a Indian temple next-generation door which has Indian gods and goddesses like Radha krishna, Laxmi Mata, Mahadev, Jhulelalji and the BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir which is a 19 min walk

Masala Bites is honestly one of the best spots for pure vegetarian Indian food in Tokyo. If you’re craving that homely comfort, go straight for the dal makhani or rajma chawal, both taste like they’ve come right out of a home kitchen. I ended up going back to the restaurant a few times and even ordering again on Uber Eats. The family running it is super warm, really fun to talk to, and they genuinely care about their guests. They even went out of their way to make dishes that weren’t on the menu. The sweetest part was when one of those experiments (a pasta) didn’t turn out well and they flat-out refused to charge us for it. That kind of honesty and warmth is rare. If you’re in Tokyo and looking for veg Indian food, this place is a must-visit. Exceptional!

🌸 During our family vacation in Tokyo, we were truly grateful to discover Masala Bites – an authentic Indian Vegetarian Restaurant. 🙏 As a vegetarian family, finding pure vegetarian food while traveling can sometimes be a challenge, but this place far exceeded all our expectations! 😍 🍽️ We ended up having dinner here every single night of our stay.

🏠 From the moment we walked in, we felt like guests in someone’s home. The hospitality was heartfelt and genuine. 🤗 🙏 Shri Kuldeepbhai personally took care of us with such warmth and attentiveness, and the entire staff served every meal with kindness and care that made us feel like part of their family. 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 🌟 It’s rare to experience such sincere and thoughtful service.

🍛 The food was absolutely delicious – 100% vegetarian and full of authentic Indian flavors! 🇮🇳 😋 One of our favorites was the Dal Baati, which we loved so much that we ordered it twice! 🫓🥣 🌿 Every dish we tried was fresh, flavorful, and clearly prepared with love and dedication. 💕 🪔 We also truly appreciated that the menu caters thoughtfully to Jain dietary requirements, which was a huge plus for a family like ours. 🙌

🌱 If you’re vegetarian, follow a Jain diet, or simply looking for a wholesome, tasty Indian meal in Tokyo 🍛, we highly recommend Masala Bites! ✨ It quickly became our go-to spot, and we are incredibly thankful for the warmth, comfort, and exceptional food we received. 💖

🙏 Thank you, Shri Kuldeepbhai and the entire team, for making our trip so special and...
