The employees were super kind and helpful! The first night we talked with Akino and one other person (sorry I couldn't remember her name! ☹️) and they were very enthusiastic about giving us restaurant recommendations. Akino was super helpful with other questions we had the second day too. Honestly she made our trip so much better! It was super helpful and relieving to have a local with amazing English to talk to the first two days in a foreign country. The other staff were also super friendly and helpful! We stayed in a mixed dorm and there's a lock on the door so that's nice for safety. People were quiet but I also used ear plugs and an eye mask and that was very helpful. This hostel has the largest lockers by far of any I saw when I looked online. They fit a carry-on size suitcase very comfortably plus extra room. But since the crime rate in Japan is low people here don't seem to be very concerned about theft and many people just left their suitcases out. My husband's locker also had a rod with a hanger on it but mine did not. Each locker had a pair of slippers to use but they were too small for my feet (women's 11). My husband's pod had a towel rack in it which is super nice but mine did not so I had nowhere to hang my towel. The light is very bright in the pod which is nice! The bathroom is a mixed gender bathroom but each toilet and shower is 100% closed in. The showers are plenty big with a big space to set your stuff, a big dry area to dry off in, and they have good water pressure. Theres shampoo, conditioner, and body wash but the shampoo and conditioner didn't work great for my hair. It was really nice to get a breakfast each morning. There were three donut flavors: matcha, lemon, or chocolate. You could also get coffee, matcha, or black tea. You can hang out in the restaurant/lounge area anytime even if you don't order food. We loved our stay, thank you!

First of all the staff are 10/10 here. They made us feel so welcome & relaxed + that really fit with the vibe of the hotel. A big thank you to the lady (sorry for not getting your name!) that helped us book dinner at a restaurant one morning too <3. The room we stayed in was pretty basic (queen size bed + Aircon) but it's all we really needed as there is so much to do / see / experience in Tokyo. The coffee + donut for breakfast every morning is such a sweet and appreciated touch and really helps with waking up before going about your day. There is a social lounge area on the ground floor that you can eat & drink in, either by bringing your own stuff or ordering from the kitchen within the hotel. Our only little issue was that we had to rent towels (We think a good way to manage this would be to have them as an optional extra when booking. We had no idea that they would not be provided when booking the room. Just a tick box on any booking site would sort this as then it would be on the customer to pay attention!). Would love to have stayed longer with more time in Tokyo and to chat to the staff there about life in Japan, but we had to move on for our holiday. Tl:Dr - Really great location & wonderful staff for a reasonable price in Tokyo with great transport links nearby.

Cheap, clean and a good hostel. Meet a lot of fun people here too. The location is about 1 km from Akiba station and is located in a residential area, so it has a quiet atmosphere. There is a cafe in the lobby that you can use as a lounge even at night. They provide you with free wifi, donuts, coffee, and matcha to drink in the morning, but suggest you try coffee and food from the cafe too since is so good. The receptionist is also kind and friendly. Thank you Shuma san for borrowing me a charger back then and Hirota san for being helpful enough since this is my first trip to another country. Overall it was a good experience staying here. Love yall.

Was a bit disappointed with this place overall. Room was not as shown in photos online - two bunks very close together and basically no space for suitcases to be opened. No shelves in bunks etc. When we arrived staff not present at check in desk and had to wait quite a while. Once checked in we realised that the staff had not really given us much info - regarding towel hires, bathroom location, public spaces etc. Public spaces in this hostel are minimal - only a cafe which is open to public during the day and a rooftop for smokers which is hard to access. However, there were also loads of positives. Location was excellent for our needs - really quick to get to airport and Tokyo station as Akihabara station is only a short walk. Facilities were also very clean and modern - showers and toilets were lovely! If you are fine with being quite close to your neighbours and having to stay mostly in your bunk, this place is actually fine for...
