It is pretty difficult to find a drinking bar in the Shin-Okubo area. Even though the neighborhood has been a growing diverse foreign hotspot, there aren't really a lot of places that cater to English-speaking foreigners. That's where the Mash Bros come in.
It's a friendly neighborhood spot near by Okubo Station. They specialize in savory pastries so for those who are aching for some English-style pies, this is the place to go. I was surprised how many people could still fit inside!
The owner was very nice & accommodating and, even though I didn't try the food, my friends said that the Pies were very good so I'm taking their word for it and including it in my review.
My best guess is that it's popular with foreigners living in the area and I can...
