I came during lunch time. Complimentary tea instead of water was nice, but if you don't like it ask for water instead. My ticket was taken right away but my order was very late. They kept putting my ticket to the end and forgetting until 10 minutes later the one staff noticed we weren't eating yet and yelled at the kitchen to get our food. The place is very crowded for lunch so expect to wait for a table. The ordering is with a touch screen and can be selected in English although payment turns back into Japanese. I will return...

SNSにてなか卯の親子丼が炭水化物、タンパク質ともに有能で価格も安いという動画を見て来店しました。 450円今なら3米ドルより安いかな。 出汁も効いていて非常に美味し！ デフレのまんま我慢してるお店です。 なんとかこのまま日本人の懐に優しい価格でいてください。

I saw a video on social media about Nakau's oyakodon being excellent in both carbohydrates and protein content while being affordable, so I visited. 450 yen - probably less than $3 at current rates. The dashi broth is flavorful and it's really delicious! This restaurant has been holding their prices steady despite inflation. I hope they can somehow continue offering these wallet-friendly prices for Japanese consumers.

Loved this place! Open 24 hours so was perfect for our jet lag at 2am. Had the noodles with beef and egg and partner had the hot soba with tempura bits and two of the coldest delicious asahis ever. Very local...
