Very tasty Korean food, I had the kimchi chige (beware that it didn’t say it had meat in it but prawns; instead, it had pork - bacon pieces? in the soup, and no prawns were seen - maybe it has in the broth and they had to write for allergen purposes). Apart from this misleading issue, the chige had that fermented kimchi sour taste and delicious; the chimiji was crispy and tasty, and my father had the bibimbap which he said was excellent. We saw some Korean people next to us, which for me means the food is good and authentic! I saw bad reviews for the service, but apart from the food taking a bit long to arrive, the two people who served us were very polite and kind. The four stars is just for the menu not having the best description (as I don’t eat meat so I was surprised to see many pieces of bacon in it), but the taste of all the food...

Solid Korean food for Japanese standards. It’s hard to find real Korean food here, and although the spice levels don’t come nearly as close to what you’ll find in the mainland, the dishes still have that authentic Korean punch to them. I’ve found that their kimchi jjigae, doenjang jjigae, and samgyetang are the most reliable dishes—although their bibimbap is delicious as well. Their lunches, which conveniently run later than most other spots, are the biggest bang for your buck, as they come with a whole set of banchan. The staff is also very sweet and attentive. I always have a lovely experience...

I’m a Korean living in K-town LA, so my bar for Korean food is really high. With that said, with a bit of leniency, this place was actually pretty solid. I was happy that there was nothing off putting or unfamiliar tasting. Everything was done really well. I wish I could’ve tried some food that wasn’t spicy, I was surprised to see how much variety...
