A sushi experience so good that we went back for a second time.
After searching for a sushi restaurant near our hotel in Nihonbashi, we found this restaurant. The people inside were very friendly and welcoming, despite our inability to say more than 7 words in Japanese. They brought out an English menu with 3 lunch specials. We chose the middle option that cost about 2400 yen, w/ tax.
The head chef made the nigiri right in front of us and gave us basic instructions as we went. It was absolutely delicious (oishi!), especially for the price. The chefs and managers were very hospitable, even as they walked us out the door.
Like I said at the start, we enjoyed it so much that we went back again. Our chef was very excited to see us return!
Next time we're in Tokyo, there will definitely be a Round 3 (or 4).
