Wonderful place! Found it by accident thanks to a discrete coppersign with only a bottle of sake and a meatskewer (yakitori). The door led down to a very cozy and neat room with about 16 seats. We ordered the chefs menu (omakase) of 8 yakitori, each consisting of perfectly prepeared pieces of chicken. Each yakitori was a different cut of meat, so you could really enjoy the different textures of every cut. The place seemed to be run by a family, and everyone was contributing to a very authentic experience. The place appeared to also attract the kindest and nicest locals, whose small talk with us, each other and the chef created a relaxed atmosphere and made us feel more than welcome. Oh, and if you're lucky, you can get a seat at the counter and watch the chef prepare the yakitori. Highly recommend to make a reservation in advance! The best pieces of chicken i have ever tasted! Oishii yakitori, ichi ban!

The place seemed to be run by a family, and everyone was contributing to a very authentic experience. The place appeared to also attract the kindest and nicest locals, whose small talk with us, each other and the chef created a relaxed atmosphere and made us feel more than welcome.

Oh, and if you're lucky, you can get a seat at the counter and watch the chef prepare the yakitori.

◆立地…☆☆☆ 馬喰横山駅から南西へ徒歩3分。 幅広い清洲橋通りから1ブロック西へ入り、両側に歩道や並木のあるゆったりした「みどり通り」に面した、５階建てのオフィスビルの地下1階。 アプローチは階段で降りる隠れ家的なもの。 入口ドアの古木による把手や暗めの照明により、内装への期待が高まった。
