We were looking for food close to our hotel and found this ramen restaurant around the corner. I am so happy, we chose to eat here. They make the best chicken ramen we’ve ever had. This is outside of the touristy places like Ginza and Shibuya. So there was no wait. You order on the ticket machine and pay first. There are 4 languages offered, so it’s foreigner friendly. Once you pay, the machine spits out tickets. They will seat you and you hand your ticket to the waiter. The waiter was so friendly and had such a warm personality, he was very welcoming. It made for a pleasant experience from beginning to finish. The chicken broth was creamy and rich and so flavorful. I loved the soup, it came out hot and fresh. We didn’t have to wait very long for our dinner. The portions are generous, you get a lot of noodles even if you order the regular chicken ramen. The chicken was juicy and not dry, cooked perfectly. The noodles were al dente and chewy. My family wanted to try their chicken. Everything about the ramen was excellent. I highly recommend this place. It’s away from the touristy areas. It’s quiet and clean with...
Read moreThe best chicken broth ramen in Tokyo by far. Thick, rich broth with soft thick cut chicken pieces. You can even order it spicy if you like! Personally, I would order the ramen that comes with all toppings and get an extra egg (the eggs are seasoned in soy sauce).
The restaurant can be slightly crowded, I would try to get there before 11:45am. Any later than that and you may have to wait in line.
If you take the Asakusa line, the closest stop is Takaracho station. But if you have never walked through Ginza before I would recommend leaving from Higashi-Ginza Station and walking up the main street to Nobunaga.
Overall, very delicious lunch if you are nearby or coming back from the...
Read moreTo me this place is more of a chicken noodle soup place than a ramen shop. I had their signature dish, which is a chicken broth base with veggies and chicken pieces. I added crispy garlic and onion bits which added to the flavor (an extra 100 yen). Broth is quite thick when you get down to it, more so than most ramens. Staff is great, and they have some English speakers. The machine you order from also supports English. Modern looking place inside and out, newish looking. I did not care for the music they were playing - some techno dance music you might hear in a...
