We stayed at this hotel from April 3 - 10th, 2024. We came to celebrate our Honeymoon and stayed at Hotel Villa-Fontaine Tokyo-Kayabacho. We picked this hotel because it was apart of a package and it was within our price range.
We stayed at #1309 (13th floor) at the very back, comes with 2 beds, a small fridge, functional bath tub/shower and of course a heating toilet with bidet options! Our beds were on the firm side so keep that in mind. To me it was great however there were times where my husband's shoulders were hurting him in the morning.
All staff are very friendly and helpful along with the cleaning crew! Very respectful people. It's a bonus when you interact with staff who are capable to speak English however I highly encourage those who are visiting to use your Google translator. Remember you are visiting Japan, do not expect to everyone to know and learn Japanese. The least effort that anyone should try to do is to learn simple Japanese phrases or use your Google translator. I really want to emphasize this because it really disgust me on how tourist people who are not from Japan can act and behave a certain way 🙄.
What's really great is that this hotel offers breakfast buffet, it's not over the top however it's convenient when you have visiting places or trips to go to first thing, you can try out this place from 630am to 930am. Again please be respectful and patience when you are having breakfast here, there's sign at the back where you can scrape your dishes and leave your used dishes in the designated area 😉.
This hotel is close to subway stations and taxi is available if you mention to the receptionists prior. If you need umbrellas, please ask the front desk and have it returned when you come back.
10-15 walk from downtown Tokyo! There is a 7-11 and Lawson around the area. There is also a washing/drying machine on the 7th floor (500yen) that has detergent included however if you have delicate clothes, it's not really suitable, your best bet to visit a 24 hour coin laundry (there's 2 around the hotel). We basically did underwear and undergarments at the hotel. You can find ice too by the 7th floor.

Read moreThis is by far the best hotel I’ve ever stayed in Tokyo after being here for 6months. In comparison with other hotels their English is overall pretty good ! Totally recommend traveler to check out this hotel^^All the staff are super nice and helpful. Especially the manager incredibly being considerate for my staying. After staying for 3nights, I happen to book a different room for the next day the manager was thoughtful enough to allow me to stay in the same room so I don’t have to take the burden to switch to another new room. One other staff was also extremely nice although I forgot her name she lets me check in earlier after I’ve been traveled somewhere else and return to this hotel Villa Fontaine again. However like every other hotel there always some one or two rat * mess up the whole miso soup… One front desk staff was giving you a ** attitude the whole time. Without giving any greeting but * attitude when she’s on duty. One of my room card didn’t work so I have her to fix it but she was not responding but giving a shitty look. ** I got her “* face” attached feel free to check her out!I would suggest villa fontaine hotel to fire any of those who is not bring attitude for a professional service. Don’t let this rat *** ruin the whole...
