Nothing I was served was fresh. The sea urchin was gray and slimy. The roe was also slimy and nearly inedible. I've only ever experienced sushi of such low quality one other time in my life.

It's also worth noting the prices seem to be based on nothing in particular. If you look around on the menu, it's easy to pay/save $10+ extra by choosing almost the exact same meal with a slightly different name.

My recommendation is to avoid this...

I love the sushi, bought 2 sushi set. One of the with snow crab leg and miso soup and the other set was even better, miso with crab leg. For the price it’s kinda slightly paying more compare to normal sushi place, since this chain restaurant has their own reputations.

I dropped by again after a while and sat at the counter as usual. The sushi was exactly as I had hoped—delicious, no complaints there. The only downside was that the level of attentiveness varied a bit depending on the chef, which was a little disappointing. I really love autumn’s salted ikura, so if it’s back on the menu this September or October, I’d definitely like to come again to enjoy it. 久々に伺いました。今回もカウンター席を利用。お寿司の味は期待通りで、文句なしに美味しかったです。ただ、職人さんによって接客の丁寧さにばらつきがあったのが少し残念でした。秋の塩いくらが大好きなので、もし今年も9月か10月頃にメニューにあれば、また食べに行きたいと思います。
