I wasnât sure what to expect when I arrived at Ome Farm Kitchen, but Iâm very glad I ended up at this little restaurant. Tucked away on a side street near Akihabara, this cozy little space is part of the retail side of a larger farm project, known as Ome Farm.
Youâll find homemade honeys, teas, and more lining the rim of the restaurant, plus jars of fresh dried flowers, herbs, and teas on the counter. While the prices seem steep at first, once you begin eating, you realize what youâre paying for: absolute quality, straight from the farm.
I had homemade kombucha, white beetroot soup, and vegetable tacos. The soup was incredible. It was so good it was almost hard to comprehendâsmooth, creamy, with just the right amount of earthiness. The tacos were simple, but the prepared vegetables were super fresh and flavorful, and the green sauce they put on them was a bright burst of yumminess that elevated them to another level.
This is a special place that is worthy of visit by vegetarians, vegans, and even meat lovers! Itâs a palette-expanding experience that is definitely worth the visit. Thank...

The shop is small and quiet, a cool and intimate setting. The menu varies by day, I think. There was some information by our table that said all (or at least most) of the ingredients are sourced from the farm after which the restaurant is named, which I believe. The two people running the place the night we went were so warm and kind, and definitely seemed to have pride in their work and a stake in the business.
I got a Buddha Bowl type dish, my partner got a tofu sandwich, and we shared some rice ice cream. Everything was impressively good. I need to learn to cook a carrot like that. Honestly inspiring. Also the best lotus root I've ever tasted.
This place is vegan and vegetarian friendly, but I will say... being American AND vegan, seeing a horse meat sandwich on the menu definitely shook me in a bad way. I don't think I'll ever not think about seeing that. So... ya know. Vegans prepare yourself for a possibly unnerving experience, I guess. It really is an amazing...
Read moreI saw colourful, mouth-watering pictures of their veggie Buddha bowl on Google reviews and was a little disappointed when my bowl arrived. That said, my bowl was A LOT more delicious than it looked! The dressings were the stars of the bowl next to the grilled veggies and really elevated the meal to the next level. The green dressing was a savoury basil mix while the orange dressing was mildly sweet (i'm not sure what it was made of; might be carrot or pumpkin). I went with a potato đ„ side "salad" drizzled with olive oil. Overall, very satisfied with my Buddha bowl đđ»
My partner ordered the Veggie curry not knowing that it was a sweet rather than savoury curry made of pumpkin. We both preferred their Buddha bowl way more as we felt it was more sophisticated compared to the curry which felt regular...
