The worst bar experience I had in Japan. Absolutely abysmal. The vibe: so tacky. The decorations look so cheap. The food portions are honestly offensive. ¥5100 for a cheese platter with a few small pieces of cheese. As a global traveler at high end hotels I’m used to “fancy hotel” portions for tourists; but these portions are beyond that - like the kitchen staff is laughing in your face as they serve it. The bar snacks were cheap and not creative. The only redeeming quality of this bar is the staff; the were kind and accommodating. I would never recommend this bar to a friend. Shame on the Penninsula for offering this. You can do better.

Came here for an event with a 3 course set menu plus amuse bouche to start (see menu). The quality of the food and presentation was quite good, in particular the tuna tataki. The grouper wasn't that great but the steak that my partner had was well made. Dessert was beautiful though the portion size was very big relative to the size of the entrees/savory food (good for people who liked dessert). The location is beautiful and service is great. Staff are attentive at the bar as well as table service.

And absolutely beautiful space. Gorgeous views and great atmosphere. An outstanding staff that truly makes you feel comfortable and welcome. My bartender made great cocktails. I really enjoyed my Peach Bellini. In addition my Wagu Beef Burger and fries was really delicious. I will definitely be stopping in a couple of more times this week. I really enjoyed my experience here!
