rainbow is an excellent place to have drinks with friends: super comfy atmosphere, excellent prices and service. we started going to the shimokita location and then the manager (looks like jon snow) moved to koenji so we started frequenting that one. you can get sangria nomihodai and he will serve you in mason jars to maximize your time. he also let us order off menu veggie fajitas which are nice. my favourite is the lunch menu tuna avocado bowl and you also get a drink, soup, and salad. it was cheap and delicious. we’d go there to study japanese but then end up drunk and head to karaoke or something. 10/10...

Quirky little 2nd floor bistro. Ordered Taco Rice, Chicken Fajitas and French Fries (because they looked tasty when they came out for another table). The chicken fajitas had nice cajun seasoning with pico de gallo, but strangely does not come with a tortilla??? The taco rice came in a hot pot like bi bim bap!!! Imaginative takes on these dishes. They also have a butter chicken curry, I am curious about for next time.
