I got to this place around lunch time, not too packed yet. Managed to get the sma table at the back for 3. Order via machine like most places at the front. They have an English menu for reference. I ordered all 3 types of ramen and all 3 are amazing! Their specialty is the Salt Ramen, it's chicken broth based, packed with flavour and the saltiness is just right. The roasted pork is tender and melts in your mouth. The soy sauce ramen is also very delicious, well balanced and full of umami. The tsukemen is the star for me. The dipping soup is shayu based and very flavourful, a bit thicker than the soup ramen version.

Broiled pork ramen was great- soup tasted faintly of yuzu and isn't too heavy or rich. The broiled pork was amazing though. Not only more flavourful than most other ramen places, but when I picked it up with my chopsticks it falls off in chunks because it was so tender. Tsukemen broth has a layer of oil sitting on top which I'm not fond of. It's in a quieter part of the neighbourhood and has alcoholic drinks. English menu is available and you order via vending machine. Much nicer than that other popular chain store ramen which I won't name...

I wish I could give more stars. The best meal I've had in our 3 weeks in Japan. The shio ramen is so rich, a perfectly balanced masterpiece. I didn't shio could be so flavourful.. But it's still so light. I feel poems need to be written about this bowl. I'm in awe. Also they have an English menu to translate the ticket machine which was a big bonus. At first I thought it was a bit expensive. About 1400 yen for the bowl with the pork and egg. But I was very wrong.. The portion is huge with loads of meat and it's worth every penny.

The first tsukemen I've tried in Japan and it was extremely delicious! I randomly found this place when I was in Yanaka Ginza, and oh boy did I hit a jackpot. Somehow I forgot to take a photo of this place and the tsukemen :( Been searching this restaurant on google and thank goodness I'm able to find it so I can review it! I tried pork tsukemen with dark broth, using a warm noodle. My friend ate some gyoza and the rice menu. All of them were spectacular. Rich broth and punchy flavor. Definitely on my destination list the next time I go to...
