I got to this place around lunch time, not too packed yet. Managed to get the sma table at the back for 3. Order via machine like most places at the front. They have an English menu for reference. I ordered all 3 types of ramen and all 3 are amazing! Their specialty is the Salt Ramen, it's chicken broth based, packed with flavour and the saltiness is just right. The roasted pork is tender and melts in your mouth. The soy sauce ramen is also very delicious, well balanced and full of umami. The tsukemen is the star for me. The dipping soup is shayu based and very flavourful, a bit thicker than the soup ramen version.

Broiled pork ramen was great- soup tasted faintly of yuzu and isn't too heavy or rich. The broiled pork was amazing though. Not only more flavourful than most other ramen places, but when I picked it up with my chopsticks it falls off in chunks because it was so tender. Tsukemen broth has a layer of oil sitting on top which I'm not fond of. It's in a quieter part of the neighbourhood and has alcoholic drinks. English menu is available and you order via vending machine. Much nicer than that other popular chain store ramen which I won't name...

I liked it so much, I ate here twice. Definitely one of my top ramen/tsukemen experiences thus far. I loved that they grilled the pork to order on a little charcoal grill - it came with nice crispy edges. The shio broth was light and crisp and was garnished with yuzu peel. It's in a quiet residential neighborhood, and we didn't have to wait for a seat either time, but there were plenty of other patrons slurping away.

This is a really unique tasting ramen, a flavor I haven’t experienced yet in Tokyo. The meat is really tender and the noodles have a distinct, delicious taste. Not to mention the gyoza are fantastic as well! I went around dinner time and it was still quiet and peaceful inside. Came back a few months later to eat the summer ramen and it was so refreshing! Only 20 servings per day though so arrive early

Excellent ramen! The roasted pork is really good and it melts in your mouth deliciousness. Will definitely come back again when I visit Tokyo. The ramen was a bit on the salty side for me but the roasted pork compensates for it. The Tsukumen is also a winner. The gyoza not a big fan. It’s chewy and salty for my taste.

We stumbled upon this little gem on a cold rainy miserable day. It’s such a life saver while half of the shop on yanaka st were closed mid afternoon. We ordered the salt ramen & ramen with roasted pork. They were yum, easily one of the best ramen we’ve tasted across different cities.
