When you travel any routes it's always the best place with the best food to remember and the worst one, that you wanna forget you ever been. Unfortunately for us the worst point of our trip to Japan became Ramen Mitaba. We visited this place last night... and oh man, I wish I never went to this establishment . Would you like absolutely cold ramen, where broth is so cold that you can see small blemishes of firm fat floating on the surface?! Plus on top of the cold ramen it was a bunch of the partially frozen meatballs, when you were trying to eat it you could taste small particles of ice... But the worst part of this is not even cold and untasteful ramen - it's a wacky attempt by employees to blame us, saying "oh, it's should be like that..." No, my friend , it shouldn't! It shouldn't be ice cold ramen and there shouldn't be frozen meatballs in there! But , instead to fix situation, the employee stayed on his version, without any slightest attempt to apologize for the worst food ever made on this part of the ocean... By the way, the best ramen we ever tried in Japan we found in Kanazawa, Ishikawa! So, if you have a choice, my advice - stay away from this place - it's many great places where you'll find absolutely delicious ramen in Shinjuku, save you...

The chicken pieces were tender and well-cooked, and the tsukune meatballs were tasty but not a must-order. I also tried the gyoza, which were good, though fairly standard. The noodles absorbed the broth nicely, giving each bite plenty of flavour.
Service was great, and the restaurant has more seating than many ramen shops, making it easy to get a spot. I’d be curious to try the thinner broth next time for a lighter experience.
A solid chicken-based ramen spot for Japan, but just slightly heavy...

Very rare to find a complete chicken ramen menu and the owners sure excel in this with their 4 kinds of wonderful broth, the ramen was cooked to al dente perfection, and my pick of spicy chicken ramen broth was perfect! Loved the thick soup and the fiery taste cause I ordered extra spicy, the gyoza was good too and paired well with the ramen, I am definitely coming back before I fly off to try other variations and service is very good too, they patiently helped me with the automated order as it was in Japanese, I really their food and service, you must try if you are in the kabukicho side of shinjuku,...
