The food I do not recommend: I don’t think there is any. I would say just to stay with the popular choices if you are new to Japanese culture.
The unforgettable part: I am very impressed by how polite Japanese culture is. Compared to how I experience in most places in western culture, Japanese people can make you feel like home even though you are actually on the other side of the world.
