I will recommend this restaurant!! Because It’s cheaper than I thought and very tasty 😋 This restaurant has 31 types of beers and wine and Japanese sake. This day we have ordered 6 dishes and 1 dessert. The most delicious dish is pic 1 ,the appetizer (especially the dish in the white bowl — chicken liver) Creamy and it doesn’t has any strange flavor ! And the second delicious dish it’s the French fried!!!!!!! The 3 types of sauces is the point!! Regular mayo ,Celery,Red pepper. Pic 3 it’s mushroom salad ,raw mushroom is so fresh and the sauce taste delicious! Pic 4 it’s tuna and smoked taro.tuna is half raw . And the taro it tastes like .....I can’t describe🙈it’s soft and sticky ,very special 😂 And the pic 5!!!! I love it! Sausage and Mashed potatoes. Eat sausage together with Mashed potatoes OMG 😋it’s heaven (probably because I love Mashed potatoes too much ha 🙈) Pic 6 coriander and tiny fish(?!)with rice in the casting iron pan. It smells so good and tasty 😋 if you put in the pan more longer and you will have crispy rice ,I think that it’s the point of this dish👍🏻 Now ,it’s dessert time!! Japanese dessert (Monaka) mix with western dessert (blueberry jam, blue cheese , vanilla ice cream and beans) Maybe I like it!! So special, the point is the blue cheese I think . Sometime sweet and sometime salty,it wasn’t let you sick of it! And I drunk one rose wine and one orange wine. I am not an orange...
Read moreCame here for dinner with friends recently and had a really enjoyable evening. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting but it didn't feel cramped. Craft beer is established in Tokyo however it's not available just anywhere quite yet. If you're looking for a good craft beer, domestic or local, definitely check out Craftsman. I believe they had about 30 different beers on tap when we visited. You can order a small glass (200ml), regular glass (380ml), or a flight of three 150ml beers of your choice. Saisons, pale ales, IPAs, lagers, ciders, and more were all on tap.
The food was fantastic as well. The menu at Craftsman is tapas-style so you can enjoy a variety of dishes while sipping a beer (or three.) A few of my favorite dishes are as follows: Grilled albacore and smoked taro - Smoky, savory, and served on a skewer. Be sure to squeeze a little lime juice on it! Big flavor. Winter melon fritto - Battered, fried, and served with squid ink. Had no idea melon could be incorporated into a savory dish. Wild rice and red bean salad - Served with a generous smear of pumpkin puree. I'd consider going vegetarian if all salads tasted as good as this one.
Craftsman is just a five minute walk from Gotanda station so if you're in the area (or already headed that direction on the Yamanote) don't hesitate to stop...
Read moreIt located nearby station which only takes 2-3mins walk, honestly there are some restaurant around and not easy for me to recognize the entrance :p Stairs up a bit I can found the narrow entrance. After getting inside, it’s cozy and much bigger!! We were 6 people and order couple of dishes. First we had cold platter including ham, fruits, baked eggplant, salmon salad, white radish and chicken liver. I’m in love with chicken liver! Next we tried raw mushroom salad, fresh mushroom was tasty!! Next coming with grilled tuna and Japanese yam, it’s super yummy, you must try! it came with green lemon and salt that you can dip for it as well. Then fried potato has 3 different tasty sauces- mayonnaise, cream cheese and celery, cream cheese was my favour :p Following with pepper giant sausage which we can shared. The most unexpected delicious was main course, it’s kamameshi simply including whitebait and vegetables with some tasty sauce, it was too yummy for me to eat it again and again! Japanese rice is delicious plus some burnt rice stick with inside pot, better try it! Last but not least we had Japanese dessert - Monaka, it likes small waffle contents ice-cream, it’s first time for me to try and I like it ! Here is famous for craft beer, you can try many kinds of them if you...
