Ramen Sho-riki — Restaurant in Tokyo

BLUF - I have been going to this place for almost 4 years now and if I wasn't moving I wouldn't stop.

Any visitor I have (pre-covid) I take here, it is as much in the rotation as any of the Shrines or Tokyo Tower. Authentic (to my gajin eyes) and delicious. Very reasonably priced, gyoza hits the spot as well and the beer is always wet.

We often take the kids and always feel welcomed. They provide kids bowls and utensils and a treat on their way out. I would recommend going with their "special" Miso Ramen......or...

Although the Ramen across the street is ranked higher, there wasn’t room so we came across the street to Ramen Sho-riki!! And I am so glad we did! The Ramen was amazing!!!! And there was room to sit down at a table for the whole group (4). But we had the Special Miso, Spicy Miso, fried Rice and dumplings!!! All were the best we had so far in Japan!!! Favorite ramen restaurant in hiroo, always a good choice for a quick and affordable bowl of noodles when the ramen craving kicks in. The spicy miso is fantastic, and goes great with an ice cold beer on the side.

The gyoza here is pretty standard, definitely edible but nothing that will blow your mind. And besides, the serving sizes of the ramen are so big you don’t really need anything else to go along...
