Saikabo Marunouchioazoten Korean Restaurant — Restaurant in Tokyo

I’ve never written a bad review in my life, but we had a not so positive experience at this restaurant. Customer service is definitely lacking to say the least. (I’m Japanese myself, and my partner is Vietnamese so I don’t think it was due to foreigner discrimination. Workers were all foreigners themselves as well.)

It started off okay with two servings of banchans for me and my partner. We were still full from breakfast, so we decided to only get one meal set that came with tofu soup and kimchi pancakes for sharing. Never had a problem with this elsewhere, but the waitress seemed confused, almost offended that we only ordered one meal. And after (aggressively) taking our order, she took one of our banchan plates away…despite already serving it to us. Apparently if you only order one meal you only get one banchan plate… they’re so small (picture attached) you would think it’s fine but it is what it is I guess, so we grumbled about it but moved on.

Once we got our tofu soup, we thought there had to be a mistake. The stone pot was not even half full (pictures attached). At that point we were disappointed in the restaurant honestly and wished we spent our money elsewhere (not cheap here).

Cherry on top was that we noticed another customer who finished their meal had MUCH larger banchan portions than us (picture attached is image of after they were finished with their meal)

All in all, safe to say we would highly recommend people not to come here and to run next door or to any of the other restaurants...

!!!水冷麺は激マズ!!!

自分は陽山道の冷麺、ユッチャンの葛冷麺、インスタントのふるる冷麺等を美味しいと思う感覚の持ち主です。近い感覚の持ち主の方、どうぞご参考ください。

まず、ここは焼き網のない韓国料理屋です。清潔感はあり、カフェのようにゆっくりできる雰囲気はある。店内では延々とkpopがかかってます。訪問時は店員さんは日本人ぽくない方がちょいちょい。

店前の看板で大きめに推されてた、チヂミと水冷麺のセットを注文。1700円くらい。

結果、大後悔。

初めてこんなに不味い冷麺食べました。

まず、人工香料のぶどうみたいな匂いがめっちゃします。これが本当にキツイ(リンゴ酢なのかも、だとしても風味のバランスがひどい) そして旨味が薄い!　本当にダシが入っているかというレベル。 お酢と辛子で調節してもなおスープがあまりにも無理だったので、麺も一口も頬張れず。数本掬って食べてはみたのですが、軟かったです。コシはあんまり。

誇張抜きに、スープ数口麺数本のみ食べて他全部残しました。

チヂミは普通にイケます。こっちは完食。ただ、他店に比べて際立ったレベルではないかと。

合計1700円、この値段帯なら他にもっといいもの食べれます。東京駅なら尚更、店の選択肢があるでしょう。
