Saizeriya — Restaurant in Tokyo

Honestly wasn't expecting to like this place so much. It was just a random place we decided to try and have been at least 3 times now in Japan!

It is a self-order system and the servers bring your food out. It does take a bit of waiting, but all the food comes out very hot. Pretty sure they make the bread in house.

The food is reasonably cheap and great for the price point. Highly recommend trying their foccia bread w/ garlic butter or their dessert foccia bread covered in cinnamon & the milk gelato combo is delightful. Their pastas aren't half bad either. I've also liked their Hamburg meal :)

Overall, would definitely go back again when I come back to Japan...

This place was actually pretty cool. It is an Italian all night eatery, so if you flight lands really late and there is no food anywhere other than McDonald’s this is a great alternative. I had the squid ink pasta which was nice. Service is quick. Note they do not take visa. So you have to get cash or get lucky that I was able to convince a local resident to trade me cash for food while using google translate to appease the waiter who was worried about me skipping out on...
